Sea Micro Hotel

The Sea Micro Hotel, located in Playa Balandra, was designed with the idea of respecting and enhancing the surrounding natural landscape. The challenge was to balance an architectural landmark with environmental sensitivity, achieving a humble building that harmonizes with its surroundings. Its brown tones and rustic textures blend with the nearby mountains, while its soft lines and curves reflect the calm of the beach. The building is partially buried in the topography of the site, connecting the mangrove and the beach through a discreet but effective design. The glamping rooms, terrace and pool face the beach, while a trail guides visitors to the mangrove. A tower in the center acts as a viewing point, offering views of the mangrove and the sea. The interiors were designed to maintain strong contact with the land, blending indoor and outdoor space through topography. The rooms offer a variety of nature views, and each features a jacuzzi nestled into the sloping topography. Barbecue and yoga areas on the upper level provide elevated sea views, while the pool, which mimics the shape of the beach, is open to all beach and hotel visitors.
