Casa Esperanza
Residencial
This house was designed for a real estate group that was looking for a model house for a housing complex in the province of Chiriquí (Panama), a few meters from a bay in Boca Chica. It has a total of 1040m2 of land and 260m2 habitable. This had to reflect aspects of a tropical home, with materials from the site such as penca and teak. The shape of the house seeks high energy efficiency, which is why the facades are made shorter to the east and west, and longer to the north and south. Its adaptation to local climate conditions can be seen in eaves that generate shade for interior spaces, which protect from heavy rain and allow natural ventilation.
